Bosch Live Data
PRO locks with GPS can read live status data from a paired Bosch smart system e-bike and forward it to the server. The lock connects to the e-bike over Bluetooth using the Bosch Live Data Interface (read-only access), reads the available values, and transmits them via its cellular connection — visible in the tracking portal and available through the REST API.
Requirements
- A PRO lock with GPS — check your model in the Lock Model Overview.
- A Bosch smart system e-bike running the latest firmware (as of May 2026).
- The I SHARE IT Service App to trigger the pairing.
- For continuous transmission to the server, the lock must be in constant tracking mode (permanently powered) — see E-Bike Power Connection and Battery Management.
Pairing the Lock with the E-Bike
- Connect to the lock with the Service App (follow steps 1–4 on the Lock Configuration page) and trigger the Bosch Pairing setting.
- Complete the pairing on the e-bike side in the Bosch Flow app or the Bosch diagnosis tool — confirm the accessory pairing there.
The e-bike must run the latest firmware (as of May 2026). Pairing fails on older firmware. Update the e-bike via the Bosch Flow app or at a Bosch dealer first.
Available Data
Once paired, the lock has read-only access to the following live data points provided by the Bosch smart system:

The Battery State of Charge refers to the e-bike battery, not the lock's internal battery.

When Data Is Sent to the Server
On locks with constant tracking (permanently powered, see Battery Management), the lock forwards the e-bike data to the server whenever:
- a connection between the lock and the e-bike is established or disconnected,
- the e-bike battery level changes,
- the e-bike is plugged in or unplugged for charging.
In low power mode the lock does not maintain a continuous server connection (see Battery Management), so live e-bike updates are only sent while the lock is in constant tracking mode.
Troubleshooting
- Pairing does not complete: Make sure the e-bike runs the latest firmware and that you finished the process in the Bosch Flow app or Bosch diagnosis tool. Retry the connection to the lock via the Service App — see Application & Pairing Diagnostics.
- No e-bike data in the portal: Verify the lock is online and in constant tracking mode — see Portal & Cellular Network States.
