LED & Sound Signal Reference
The lock communicates its state through the LED in the main button and through acoustic signals. This page consolidates all signals in one place — ideal as a quick reference for helpdesk and service staff.
LED Signals
| LED Signal | Meaning | What to Do |

| Solid red | Battery is charging. | LED turns off when the lock is fully charged. |
| Red, off after a few seconds (while connected to e-bike power) | Charging via external power — normal behaviour for externally powered models. | Nothing; leave charging ~3 h to ensure a full charge. Not a charging failure. |
| 3× red flashes (with warning tones, during locking) | Locking failed: the bolt hits a spoke or the bike was moving. | Roll the bike a few centimeters and retry; make sure the bike is completely stationary. See Mechanical & Hardware Faults. |
| Red flashes (during unlocking) | Bolt is jammed under lateral stress (leaning bike / spoke pressure). | Relieve the pressure by gently rotating the rear wheel, then retry. |
| 3× blue flashes | An established Bluetooth connection to a smartphone has dropped. | Reconnect via the Service App; stay within ~5 m of the lock. See Application & Pairing Diagnostics. |
| Red flashing (after failed color code entries) | Security lockout: 3 wrong color codes within 3 minutes. All button input is ignored for 5 minutes. | Wait for the lockout to expire, then re-enter the code carefully. |
| Solid red (Classic lock, after holding the button ~2 s) | Locking is armed — releasing the button starts the locking process. | Release the button to lock. |
| Green / Blue / Red / White cycling | Color code entry mode (PRO: press repeatedly; Classic: hold — White only on PRO). | See Lock Operation. |
Sound Signals
| Sound Signal | Meaning | Notes |

| 1 long beep | Locking process started. | Can be disabled in the sound settings. |
| 1 short beep | Unlocking successful. | Can be disabled in the sound settings. |
| 3 short beeps | Warning: bike moved while locking, bolt blocked during locking or unlocking, or battery low. | Can be disabled in the sound settings. |
| 5 beeps on unlocking | Battery below its safe operating threshold. | Schedule the bike for a recharge immediately. See Battery Management. |
| Loud continuous alarm (~30 s) | Motion detected while locked — theft alarm. | Re-arms automatically if motion continues. See Alarm & Theft Tracking. |
| Short warning tone (pre-alarm) | Motion detected — warning stage before the full alarm (if pre-alarm mode is configured). | Reduces false full alarms and battery drain. |
